Spicy puffs with onions and peppers can be served as a party snack instead of the usual chips. It's easy to cook them, especially if you buy a package of ready-made puff pastry in advance.
It is necessary
- - 1 pack of puff pastry;
- - 100 g of gouda cheese;
- - 1, 5 red bell pepper;
- - 10 stems of green onions;
- - 3 tbsp. spoons of hot red sauce.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have a frozen package of puff pastry, defrost it first. Or prepare the dough yourself: for this, sift 320 g of flour, add softened butter (200 g), pour in 100 ml of cold water, add a pinch of salt and sugar. Knead the dough from these components and, preferably, let it stand for half an hour.
Step 2
Rinse the bell peppers, peel them, cut into small pieces. Chop the green onion smaller, grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Divide the cheese into two parts - mix one with green onions, the other with bell pepper.
Step 3
Roll out the puff pastry thin enough, cut into equal parts into squares - you can use the molds, if you have them. Then the puffs can be made curly.
Step 4
Grease a baking sheet with oil, put squares of dough on it, greased with red hot sauce (even any hot ketchup will do). Place the mixture of cheese and bell pepper on some of the squares, and on the second with cheese and green onions. Place in the oven.
Step 5
Bake hot puffs with onions and peppers at 190 degrees for 15 minutes.
