Chak-chak is a familiar and well-known delicacy of the eastern countries. But, unfortunately, you don't often see him in the store. This is not a problem, because chak-chak can be prepared at home and even according to an unusual recipe.
It is necessary
- - 2 tablespoons of raisins;
- - 1 cup of sugar;
- - 20 ml of vegetable oil;
- - half a glass of honey;
- - 100 g straws with salt;
- - almonds.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour the raisins with warm water so that it becomes swollen and the dish is more saturated. Set it aside for a few minutes.
Step 2
Pour a glass of water into a saucepan and put on fire. Break the straws and salt into a bowl, not very finely. Add a glass of sugar, swollen raisins and chopped almonds to boiled water. Stir until sugar dissolves and syrup is formed.
Step 3
Remove the syrup from the stove, add honey to it, stirring occasionally. Pour the broken straws with salt here and mix gently. Take molds for dessert, grease them with oil so that the chak-chak does not stick to the walls. Any excess oil that has dripped to the bottom of the molds must be removed.
Step 4
In a warm state, until the honey mixture with the sticks has cooled down, pour into molds. Put the chak-chak in the refrigerator for thirty to forty minutes. Before serving, sprinkle the chak-chak with almonds on top.
