It is necessary

  • - 3 glasses of wheat flour;
  • - 300 g of sugar;
  • - 200 g of butter and dark chocolate;
  • - 70 ml of milk;
  • - 4 eggs;
  • - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of powdered sugar;
  • - cream to taste;
  • - a pinch of salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Beat chicken eggs with sugar, add softened butter, salt and flour. Pour in milk, knead the cake dough. Divide it into two equal parts, add melted chocolate to one, and leave the other as it is.

Step 2

Bake the cake layers at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. They should be the same size. Let the cakes cool, cut both into equal long strips.

Step 3

Whip cream of 35% fat with powdered sugar and spread over each piece of dough. Then stack in a checkerboard pattern to match the colors to create a checkerboard look. Instead of cream, you can smear the dough with any berry or fruit jam, jam, sweet sauce, condensed milk - it's not for everybody. Thanks to this, you can always prepare a beautiful cake with different tastes.

Step 4

You can decorate the top of the cake with chocolate icing. To do this, melt a chocolate bar along with 50 g of butter in a water bath. Pour the hot icing over the cake and leave to set. Then put in the refrigerator so that the pieces of biscuit dough are thoroughly soaked.

Step 5

Serve the finished chess cake with tea or a cup of coffee. Additionally, you can garnish with chocolate or coconut flakes before serving.
