If you like adding garlic to your meals, you can also add it to mashed potatoes. To do this, you will need to crumble or crush the garlic in advance, and not put whole cloves in the potatoes to crush the whole mixture.

In order to cook mashed potatoes with garlic in the microwave, you will need:

- 2 large or 3 medium potatoes;

- 200 ml of milk;

- 2-3 cloves of minced or minced garlic

- butter, sour cream, more milk, salt, pepper - to taste.

  1. Use a fork to poke holes in each of the potatoes on opposite sides.
  2. Place the potatoes in a large microwave-safe bowl. Put on a high heat setting, time - 8 minutes, and turn on the microwave. After that, check the readiness of the potatoes by poking them with a fork. If it is still hard, microwave it for another 2 minutes.
  3. Add milk to a small microwave-safe bowl and add minced or minced garlic. Cook on medium mode for 2 minutes, then check if the garlic is tender. If not, microwave the mixture again for 2 minutes. Then check again. While the milk and garlic are microwave cooking, mash the potatoes.
  4. Add the milk and garlic to the potatoes and mix thoroughly. Add butter, sour cream, more milk, salt, pepper and whatever is needed to your liking.
