Serving cocktail salad is a festive dish. This salad turns out to be juicy and aromatic. The ham and squid combination is fun in itself, but you can add lentils and the salad tastes even better!
It is necessary
- - ham - 200 grams;
- - hard cheese - 100 grams;
- - squids - 3 carcasses;
- - one fresh cucumber, onion;
- - half an orange;
- - mayonnaise - 250 milliliters;
- - cream of 10% fat content - 100 milliliters;
- - black lentils - 2 tablespoons;
- - table horseradish, black pepper - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the squid carcasses, remove the thin film. Bring the water to a boil, salt, add a slice of lemon. Dip the squids into the water, let them boil again. Drain the water, dry the squid.
Step 2
Rinse the lentils, pour boiling water (ratio 1: 2), cook for about fifteen minutes until the water evaporates. Dry over low heat (do not close the lid!). Cool it down.
Step 3
Chop the rest of the food into thin strips. Rub some cheese on a grater for garnish. Pour boiling water over the onion, rinse immediately with cold water, pat dry.
Step 4
Prepare the sauce. Mix orange juice with horseradish and pepper, add mayonnaise, stir, pour in cream, stirring continuously.
Step 5
Put the salad in layers in portioned bowls: cucumbers, cheese, lentils, pour the sauce. Next, lay out the squid, onion, ham, cucumbers, pour over the sauce, sprinkle with cheese, decorate as you wish. Serve the ready-made cocktail salad with ham, squid and lentils immediately, bon appetit!
