Since ancient times, vinegar has been known to everyone and is widely used in Russian and, perhaps, other cuisines. Vinegar is added to marinades and various seasonings, soda is quenched with it when making dough, and added to meat when stewing. In short, vinegar in the kitchen is a must. And as it turned out, you can not only buy a vinegar solution all the time, but also prepare it at home.

It is necessary

    • any sweet fruit juice;
    • the remains of natural unpasteurized vinegar;
    • glass bottle for vinegar;
    • small bowl;
    • watering can.

Instructions

Step 1

Open the juice of your choice and make sure it is sweet. If there is not enough sugar, sweeten it a little, but do not overdo it, otherwise it will not work, or rather it will work, but not quite what you need. Pour the juice into a prepared bowl.

Step 2

Add the rest of store bought natural vinegar to the juice and mix thoroughly. It is important when mixing to ensure that nothing extra gets into the bowl, as crumbs can ruin everything. The amount of juice and purchased vinegar should be approximately the same.

Step 3

Stir the mixture gently and hide in a dark, warm place for a few days. Occasionally, the mixture needs to be tasted in order to determine the strength of the resulting solution. The number of days for which you need to leave the mixture depends on the degree of strength. The more you want to get the strength, the longer the mixture should be infused.

Step 4

Once the desired strength is reached, carefully pour the resulting vinegar into a glass bottle using a watering can and leave it without moving for several months in the refrigerator. This will soften the taste of the cooked vinegar.
