Interesting Facts

An acorn was found by archaeologists on the territory of modern Japan. The age of the fetus, according to experts, was more than three and a half thousand years. Nevertheless, when it was planted in the soil, the acorn sprouted, after a while it became a mighty tree. This clearly shows the tremendous power contained in oak seeds.

The ancestors of modern man baked bread and cakes from flour obtained by grinding acorns. This became known thanks to excavations carried out in the places of settlements and sites of ancient people.

Acorn drink

A coffee drink made from oak fruit is of great benefit in the treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Apply it in courses with a short break.

To prepare a healing drink, prepare acorns. Harvest them after they are fully ripe, i.e. late September - early October. Wash the fruit thoroughly, peel and divide into halves. Dry in a warm room or in the oven, spreading the fruits on a baking sheet in one row. Store in a container with a tight-fitting lid.

To prepare a drink, grind prepared acorns in a blender or coffee grinder. Boil the powder in a Turk or coffee maker like regular coffee. You will need 1 teaspoon of powder to make one cup of the health drink. Add sugar, cream or milk to your taste in a cup with this "coffee".

Acorn porridge

Peel and chop the collected oak fruits, cutting into 4 parts. Place the acorns in a bowl and cover completely with water. Soak for 2 days. In this case, the water must be changed every 5-6 hours. Due to soaking, acorns will lose their astringent, bitter taste.

Fruits prepared in this way, put on fire and bring to a boil. Then pass the fruits through a meat grinder and dry the resulting mass well. To do this, spread it in a thin layer on a baking sheet or a thick sheet of paper and place in a slightly heated oven. Dry until completely dry over low heat. Cook porridge from the resulting cereal. In a small saucepan, boil a liter of milk, add sugar to taste and add 6-7 tablespoons of chopped acorns.

note

Collect oak fruit only in forests away from highways, factories, and other industrial facilities. Before using these prescriptions for treatment, be sure to consult your doctor.
