Compote with mashed dried apricots
Try to make compote with mashed dried apricots, children really like it. To get a rich drink, follow the proportions of fruit and water indicated in the recipe. If you like a less sweet compote, reduce the amount of sugar.

For cooking, choose fragrant natural dried apricots, not treated with chemicals. Sort it over, rinse, and soak in cold water to remove adhering dirt and grit. After half an hour, drain the water and rinse the dried fruit again.

Put dried apricots in a saucepan and cover it with water, add sugar. Place the pot on the stove and bring the compote to a boil. Then turn off the stove, cover the pan with a lid and leave the compote to infuse and cool. Drain the liquid into a separate container, put the berries in the bowl of the food processor and turn into a puree. Wipe the dried apricot puree through a sieve. Then put it in the compote and stir. Serve cold.

Dried apricot compote with oranges
The taste of dried apricots is in perfect harmony with oranges. Combine these fruits in one drink, zest will add zest to it, and orange juice will add richness.

Go through the dried apricots and rinse them with warm water. Then soak the dried fruit and drain the water. Place the dried apricots in a saucepan, cover with water and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook the dried apricots until soft.

Wash the oranges. Squeeze the juice from two fruits, remove the zest from half of the fruit. Peel the remaining orange, disassemble into slices, remove the films. Pour orange juice into a saucepan with compote and stir the mixture.
