Delicious jelly can be prepared both in summer from fresh berries and in winter from frozen ones.
It is necessary
- - pan;
- - blender;
- - a colander or sieve;
- - gooseberries 3/4 cups;
- - cherries 3/4 cups;
- - raspberries 0.5 cups;
- - strawberries 0.5 cups;
- - red currant 0.5 cups;
- - black currant 0.5 cups;
- - sugar 5-7 tbsp. spoons;
- - lime 1 pc.;
- - starch 100 g;
- - cinnamon 0.5 teaspoon;
- For decoration:
- - cherries and currants.
Instructions
Step 1
Sort the berries and rinse under running water. Separate the gooseberries, raspberries and currants from the twigs. Remove the sepals from the strawberries. Remove the seeds from the cherries.
Step 2
Pour 2.5 liters of cold water into a saucepan, add sugar and stir. Bring to a boil. Put the gooseberries in boiling water and cook for 5 minutes over low heat. Then add raspberries, strawberries, currants and cherries. Cook everything together for about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the saucepan from heat and strain the contents through a colander or sieve. Rub the berries through a sieve or beat with a blender until smooth.
Step 4
Take 150 ml of berry broth and cool. Add starch to the cooled broth and stir. Pour the lime over with boiling water, dry and squeeze the juice.
Step 5
Bring the berry broth to a boil again. Add cinnamon, lime juice and berry puree and cook for 2 minutes. Then, while stirring, pour the diluted starch into the boiling broth. Stir well and remove from heat.
