Lemon chips are a vitamin treat for a cup of tea. In addition, they can be used to decorate various pastries. To get exactly crispy chips, lemons must be sliced very thinly. You can store ready-made chips in a closed container by shifting them with parchment.

- - 1 cup of sugar;

Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the lemon well, wipe dry with a clean towel. Cut off the tops of the lemon, we won't need them for the recipe.
Step 2
Cut the lemon itself very thinly, try not to disturb the structure of the slices - there should be no holes in them.
Step 3
Prepare the syrup by pouring water into a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add sugar. Put on fire, stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 4
Dip the lemon slices in hot syrup, boil for 25-30 minutes until the lemons are transparent. Do not bring the syrup to a boil, otherwise only the rind will remain from the lemons.
Step 5
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, put boiled lemon on it. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 90 degrees. Dry lemons about 1.5-2 hours until brown.
Step 6
Cool lemon chips, put in a container. Use the prepared treat of your choice.
