It is necessary

    • 3-5 medium potatoes
    • 100 g boiled mushrooms
    • 50 g vegetable oil
    • 1 small onion
    • salt
    • pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Only industrial mushrooms like champignons can be placed in raw fried potatoes, while forest mushrooms need preliminary preparation. Honey mushrooms, boletus, white - no matter what you can collect in the nearest forest or buy on the market, any of these mushrooms must be thoroughly washed, cleaned of dirt and adherent foliage, cut and boiled in at least two waters.

Step 2

Only then can the mushrooms be considered ready for introduction into other dishes. Place them in a colander and set aside to drain off the water.

Step 3

Peel the potatoes, rinse them in water, cut them into large strips, put them on a napkin to dry. Cut the onion into half rings.

Step 4

Heat oil in a thick-walled skillet, send potatoes into it. Let it brown lightly on one side, add the onions, turn the potatoes over and brown them on the other side. The fire can be turned down at the same time, but only slightly.

Step 5

After 5-7 minutes, add mushrooms, salt and pepper to the potatoes, mix well, fry for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the potatoes are still not fried, you can cover the pan with a lid and leave to simmer over low heat until the dish is fully cooked.

Step 6

Serving potatoes with mushrooms or mushrooms with potatoes (it all depends on the proportions of the products in the finished dish) is best served with sour cream.
