In the production process, raw materials undergo only partial processing, so vitamins and minerals are preserved. Of course, the amount of useful elements is incomparable with their content, for example, in honey or dried fruits.

Brown sugar has a natural rich taste and aroma; it is often used not only as an additive to coffee or tea, but also in the preparation of confectionery and savory sauces. Natural brown cane sugar boxes always bear the words “unrefined”, otherwise it may be an artificially created product with added dyes.

Sucrose, which is essentially sugar, is broken down into fructose and glucose during digestion. That is why a glass of sweet tea is a universal source of fast energy for the body. Glucose is a simple carbohydrate that helps your heart and brain function. Fructose is a monosaccharide, due to its sweet taste it is often a substitute for sugar, in its free form it is found in almost all sweet fruits and berries.

Any sugar is a high-calorie product, this should be remembered for people prone to overweight. However, a complete rejection of sugar is recommended only for certain diseases. The optimal daily intake for a healthy person is 8-10 teaspoons, taking into account not only sugar in its pure form, but also that contained in baked goods and sugary drinks.

When choosing between brown and white sugar, you should focus on your own taste preferences, since all the benefits lie only in the quick receipt of glucose by the body. Although brown sugar, due to the way it is produced, is slightly healthier than white sugar.
