Beetroot hearts
Boil medium beets, chill and peel gently. Cut it into thin slices, and then cut out the hearts using a cookie cutter. Finely chop the remaining trimmings and use for coloring mayonnaise or sour cream. These beetroot hearts will be very appropriate for salads prepared for Valentine's Day.
