Squid is a seafood with which you can make different dishes. It can be boiled and cut into a salad. Fry in a pan or grill, stew, marinate, dry. The squid can even be turned into minced meat for cutlets. However, you first need to clean the squid. This is a momentary but important matter.

Step 1
Place the squid in a colander. Rinse well under cold water.
Step 2
Using a knife, scrape off the reddish film from the squid. Pull the film - from the bag of the trunk.
Step 3
If you bought not a ready-made squid fillet, but a whole carcass, take the tentacles from the body bag with your fingers. Pull on them: pull out the insides and head with them. Cut off the tentacles in front of the eyes.
Step 4
Take the transparent cartilaginous arrow with your hands and pull it out. Throw it away.
Step 5
Rinse the squid carcass again well under cold water. Cut the squid carcass into rings.
