Flywheels are quite common in Russia. However, not every lover of quiet hunting favors this type of mushroom. And in vain, because if you properly clean and cook the mushrooms, then they will not almost yield to even white ones in terms of taste.

It is necessary

  • - mushrooms;
  • - knife;
  • - water;
  • - sponge for washing dishes.

Instructions

Step 1

Cleaning the mushrooms is practically no different from the cleaning of boletus, white, boletus and others. The first step is to clean the mushroom caps from forest debris, for this you must first scrape off the debris from the top and bottom of the caps with a sharp knife, and then wipe the top of the caps with a clean, damp sponge. This will maximize the collection of litter from the surface of the mushrooms.

Step 2

Next, you should cut off the lower part of the mushroom "leg" in a circle in order to remove the adhering soil (if the mushrooms were cut with a knife during collection, then this item can be skipped).

Step 3

Then the mushrooms must be divided into two parts - a leg and a cap, and carefully examine them. Small holes on the mushrooms are a sure sign of the worminess of the product, you should get rid of it. If there are no such defects, the flywheels can be cut into pieces of a suitable size and used to prepare any dish.

Step 4

If the flywheels are large, then they should be examined more carefully. Particular attention should be paid to the tubular part of the cap, since it is there that worms most often inhabit. In the presence of these parasites in mushrooms, it is necessary to get rid of the product without regret.

Step 5

If there are places on the mushrooms that are eaten by slugs, then they should be cut out with a sharp knife, then rinsed under running water.

Step 6

If the mushrooms will be used for frying in the future, then it is better to rinse them before cooking (do not boil them, as they will lose their taste). Before preparing soup or pickling, be sure to boil the product. The cooking time is 20-30 minutes (this is enough for all the harmful substances to pass from the mushrooms into the water).
