Many people choose to replace groceries from stores with what they are able to make themselves - this not only saves the family budget, but also gives confidence in the quality of the product. How to make cream at home?
Sometimes the recipe found will turn out much tastier if you use cream, but as luck would have it, they may not be at home.
At home, you can make a cream that is right for you: thick or thin, greasy or not. We need two products - butter and milk. When choosing them, you should pay attention to the production date, you need the freshest products. Milk is suitable for any fat content, but if you want heavy cream, then you should choose the appropriate milk.
If at home you do not have disposable handkerchiefs or napkins, as well as gauze, then you also need to purchase them.
- Cut the butter into pieces, put in a medium-sized saucepan and fill everything with milk. Turn on the heat on the stove; you do not need to make it overly strong or weak. The contents of the pan placed on the stove must be constantly stirred - this will dissolve the oil faster.
- It is not necessary to bring the milk to a boil. The gas can be turned off if you are sure that the butter is completely dissolved.
- The milk, still warm, just removed from the stove, is poured into the blender. There it should be whipped for 7 minutes. If you do not have a blender, you can use a mixer or, in extreme cases, a fork, but you will have to try to thoroughly beat the milk and butter.
- After that, pour the milk into a jug or bowl, cover with gauze or a napkin and cool down the liquid. After about 40 minutes, the bowl is put into the refrigerator and infused there for 7-9 hours. If you are worried about running out of cream, you can add the thickener from the bag before pouring the mixture into the blender.
There is another option for creating cream, but it is suitable for those who have the opportunity to take natural milk. Of course, it's best if it's fresh from a cow. Milk is poured into a three-liter jar and removed. After a while, a gentle, thick foam will appear at the top - you need to remove it with a spoon and put it in a bowl. Actually, the cream is ready! The milk from the store is not suitable for this recipe, since the factory has already squeezed out all the "juices" from it, so the frothy cap is unlikely to appear.
Now you know how to make your own cream at home.
