Instructions
Step 1
The easiest and fastest way to always have lemon juice on hand is to freeze a small amount of raw material in ice cube trays. A small piece is enough just for salad dressing or as an addition to tea. But this option is effective only within a single kitchen.
Step 2
If the scale of production is a cafe or a workshop, then ten ice cubes from lemon juice will not be enough. Then simple recipes will come to the rescue. Simply squeeze the juice of the lemons in a juicer and store in a sealed container in the refrigerator. But do not forget that such juice is stored for no more than a month.
Step 3
For longer storage, you can prepare the juice in a juicer. Be sure to pour it hot into the container and seal it, excluding the access of air. You need to close the container immediately after pouring the juice.
Step 4
If there is no juicer, squeeze the lemons through a juicer, bring to a boil, but, importantly, do not boil! Then pour it into a sterile container in the same way and seal it tightly.
Step 5
There are recipes for gourmets too, for example, making thick lemon juice, more like a jelly-caird. Peel the zest from the lemons, squeeze the juice, mix it with the zest, add powdered sugar to taste and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add some butter to the sweet syrup and place in a water bath.
Step 6
In a separate bowl, beat four chicken eggs and pour them into a bowl of lemon juice. Leave in a water bath for 20 minutes, remembering to stir constantly. Then pour into sterilized jars and close tightly.
Step 7
In addition to culinary recipes, the preparation of lemon juice can and should be used for medicinal purposes. Since lemon is rich in vitamin C, tea with lemon juice and a spoonful of honey is indispensable for colds and coughs. And with angina, you need to lubricate the throat with a cotton swab soaked in lemon juice. Lemon juice added to water when brushing your teeth helps prevent tooth decay.
Step 8
From all this, we can conclude that with any method of harvesting lemon, there is a reason to use it. Whether it's cooking, health or beauty. After all, many centuries ago, lemon was famous for its properties, and the ancient Egyptians said that when drinking the juice and pulp of a lemon, a person becomes invulnerable to various poisons, which has already been confirmed by research by scientists in our time, having found bromine, magnesium, fluorine, molybdenum in lemon juice …
