It is necessary

    • Black tea
    • Green tea
    • Purified water
    • Teapot

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, when preparing tea, pay attention to the quality of the water. Brew tea correctly in soft purified water. If you do not have a filter for water purification, buy special drinking water from the store, but not mineral water.

Step 2

Water for brewing tea only needs to be boiled once. When boiling again, the water loses some of the oxygen, which has a detrimental effect on the aroma of the tea. By the way, don't wait for the water to gurgle intensely. Try to remove the kettle from the heat when the water is in the second stage of boiling: at this time, the water column is filled with small bubbles, and the water itself seems to turn a little cloudy and whitened.

Step 3

It is advisable to prepare tea in a special teapot made of porcelain, earthenware or ceramics. You should not make a concentrated brew, which is then poured into cups and diluted with boiling water. It is better to immediately brew the tea in a large teapot, and then pour the drink out of it into cups.

Step 4

Brewing tea should take place in a heated container. Therefore, first rinse the teapot with boiling water, and then add tea at the rate of 1 teaspoon of tea to 200 ml of water.

Step 5

Brewing black tea

Pour boiling water over black tea. If foam has formed on the surface, this indicates that the water has not boiled over and the tea is of good quality. Only whole leaf black teas do not foam.

Place the lid tightly over the teapot and place a napkin on top to allow steam to pass through. This is to ensure that the aromatic substances do not evaporate from the black tea during the brewing process. Wait about 5 minutes and pour the black tea into the mugs. It is advisable to drink black tea no later than 15 minutes after its preparation.

Step 6

Brewing green tea

Wait for the boiled water to cool down to 80-85 degrees. If you brew green tea with boiling water, it will acquire an unpleasant bitterness and lose its aroma. Green tea also becomes bitter when left in the teapot for a long time.

Pour green tea with water cooled to the desired temperature and let it brew for 1, 5-2 minutes. Pour the tea into cups.

The peculiarity of green tea is the possibility of its multiple brewing. The number of infusions depends on the type of green tea: some of them can withstand up to 5 infusions. Each subsequent brewing time should be increased by 20 seconds.
