Boiled rice, complemented by rich grilled meat with vegetables, can serve as an ideal dinner option for the whole family. Such a dish turns out to be not only hearty and nutritious, but also very budgetary. In addition, it is prepared in just half an hour.

  • - round grain rice - 500 g;
  • - "Domashny" minced meat (pork and beef) - 400 g;
  • - onions - 3 pcs.;
  • - carrots - 1 pc.;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - sunflower oil for frying;
  • - pan Pan.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the rice several times until the water is completely clear. Then pour it into a saucepan and pour in enough water to cover the rice layer by 2 cm. Bring to a boil, add salt immediately if desired, and then reduce the temperature to a minimum, cover and cook for about 20 minutes, until the rice is absorbed into yourself all the liquid and will not become soft.

In the meantime, while the rice is boiling, we will prepare the meat fry with vegetables for it. Peel the onions and carrots. Chop the onion into quarters, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Step 3

Once the vegetables are ready, take a skillet and heat it up properly. After that, pour in the sunflower oil and, as soon as it warms up enough, put the onion in the pan and fry it until golden brown.

Step 4

Then add the minced meat to the onion and mix everything together thoroughly. As soon as the minced meat changes color and becomes light, add the grated carrots to the pan and fry them along with the meat and onions until half cooked (about 5-7 minutes).

Step 5

Now reduce the temperature to a minimum, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the frying for 10-15 minutes until the minced meat is fully cooked, stirring occasionally. Once the meat is done, add black pepper and salt to the pan to taste.

Step 6

By this point, the rice is probably already cooked. Transfer the grilled meat straight from the pan to it and mix everything together well. In this case, do not remove the pan with the dish from the hot stove for a couple of minutes so that the rice properly absorbs the aroma of meat and vegetables.

Step 7

This rice with minced meat can be served immediately. As an appetizer, pickles are ideal, as well as a cucumber salad with tomatoes and fresh chopped herbs (green onions, parsley, etc.).
