Meatballs are the taste of childhood. They are so tender, delicious. Oven-baked meat balls captivate with their tempting appearance and taste. They can be cooked with sauce, rice, cheese or mushrooms.
The classic version of meatballs is made from meat. After preparing such a dish, next time you can add cereals, cheese to the meat, or sprinkle them on top of molded, but not yet baked products. Beef alone will not make juicy cutlets, so take it in combination with pork. To make regular meatballs, take:
- 350 g of beef;
- 500 g of pork;
- 2 eggs;
- 100 g rolls soaked in milk;
- 1 onion;
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste or 2 tomatoes;
- 100 g thick sour cream;
- pepper, salt.
Of course, it is better to make the minced meat yourself. The big question is whether the meat is washed before it is turned into store mince. And on industrial equipment, not only meat is sometimes turned into a homogeneous mass, but also veins, and even bones, and by-products can also be added to it.
Therefore, if you want to cook noble meatballs, make the minced meat yourself.
Remove the film from the meat, if any, twist it first through a meat grinder with large holes, then with small ones. After that, send the bow there. Squeeze out the crumb of white bread soaked in milk, put it in the meat grinder last. The bread will give the finished products a smoother texture and juiciness.
Add salt and pepper to the finely minced meat to taste and beat it with your hand. Then the baked meatballs will turn out to be airy. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, shape balls the size of an egg with your hand dipped in water, put them tightly to each other. If you prefer meatballs without sauce, at this stage, cover the baking sheet with foil and send it to the hot oven.
If you like meatballs with sauce, then dissolve tomato paste in 100 g of water, add sour cream, stir and pour the gravy right on top of them.
Meat balls are baked in an oven preheated to 190 ° C for 35 minutes. Ready-made products can be suppressed with vegetables, buckwheat, rice, but they are especially good with mashed potatoes. Slices of pickled or pickled cucumber will complement the taste of the dish.
Cheese lovers can include this ingredient in their recipes. Moreover, it can be put in minced meat or sprinkled with molded products. Rice will also be appropriate in this recipe. To cook meatballs in the oven with cheese, take:
- 370 g of pork;
- 300 g of beef;
- 100 g of rice;
- 1 egg;
- 1 onion;
- 2 tomatoes;
- 110 g of hard cheese;
- 60 g sour cream;
- pepper, salt.
Pour 80 g of cold water into a small saucepan, put on fire. During this time, rinse the rice in three waters. When the liquid in the saucepan boils, add the cereal, stir, reduce heat to low, close the lid, cook for 8 minutes. During this time, the rice should absorb all the water, set it to cool.
Beat an egg into the minced meat cooked with onions, add salt, pepper and cooled rice. Mix the mixture well. Shape the meatballs as in the previous case, but flatten them a little on top. In the resulting grooves, put a circle of tomato, on top - grated cheese, on it - a little sour cream. Bake at 190 ° C for 35 minutes. You can grate the cheese on a medium grater and put it directly into the minced meat, and cover the meatballs with tomato and sour cream.
