Morels are the first to appear and can be harvested in spring. Not everyone knows how to cook morels, but in vain - these mushrooms are very tasty. But when processing them, you need to take into account all the rules, otherwise you can get poisoned - morels are conditionally edible mushrooms.
How to cook fried morels
You will need: 500 g of mushrooms, butter, lemon, salt and pepper to taste.
First, wash the mushrooms under running water to remove all grass and dirt. Chop morels and place in boiling salted water. Cook for at least 10 minutes, then discard in a colander, rinse and be sure to squeeze out the water well. This is necessary so that all toxic substances are removed with water. Now you can fry the mushrooms. Heat oil in a skillet, put morels in it, salt and pepper to taste. You need to cook morels until golden brown. To make the mushrooms more aromatic, you can add chopped onions at the end of frying. Serve with Chips.
How to cook morels with sour cream
You will need: 500 g of morels, 1 tbsp. sour cream, butter, cheese, 1 tsp. flour, salt and pepper to taste. Wash the mushrooms, cut the large ones, take the small ones whole. Boil water, salt it and put mushrooms in a saucepan. Cook for 10 minutes, then drain the water, rinse the morels again with cold water and squeeze. Put a frying pan on the fire, brush it with oil and fry the mushrooms a little. Then lightly dust with flour, stirring constantly. Leave it on the stove for a little while and add sour cream. Simmer the morels for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat, sprinkle with grated cheese, drizzle with melted butter and bring to readiness in the oven. Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped herbs.
How to cook morels with eggs
You will need: 300 g morels, ½ cup sour cream, 5 eggs, butter, herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Wash the mushrooms and cut into small pieces. Soak them in boiling water for 10 minutes, then rinse under cold water and be sure to wring out. Next, you need to cook morels in a frying pan. Put it on fire, put butter and mushrooms, lightly fry and cool. Beat the eggs with a whisk, add sour cream, salt and pepper. Stir in the sautéed morels and pour the mixture into a high-sided skillet. Put in the oven and bake this mushroom omelet until golden brown. Sprinkle with chopped herbs and serve.
