Delicate pie "Charlotte" is made from biscuit dough that covers any fruit filling, for example, apple. Such a simple-looking pie will perfectly complement your homemade tea party.

Step 1
Prepare the apples - wash them under cold water, remove the seed pod, cut the peel, and then cut into thin slices or small cubes 1 x 1 cm. For charlotte, choose sweet aromatic apples, preferably winter varieties. Melt the honey in a water bath. Squeeze the juice out of half of the lime. Lemon can be used instead of lime.
Step 2
Transfer the apple slices to a deep bowl and drizzle with lime (or lemon) juice. Drizzle with liquid honey, add 2 tbsp. l. Sahara. If desired, you can add a little (no more than 0.5 tsp) ground cinnamon, a handful of raisins and walnuts to the apples. Stir and leave the filling for 5-10 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare the dough. Beat the eggs at room temperature until lather, gradually pouring in the remaining sugar. Add the sifted flour and knead the dough. The dough should be homogeneous, not too thick, slowly flowing from the spoon.
Step 4
Grease the bottom and sides of the mold with vegetable or butter, sprinkle with flour or ground breadcrumbs. Arrange the apple slices, smooth and pour over the resulting juice and honey. Pour the dough over the apples.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Bake the cake for 25-35 minutes. Do not open the oven door for the first 20 minutes until a golden crust appears on the cake. When the cake is completely baked, remove the baking dish from the oven, let it cool slightly and turn it upside down on a flat plate.
Step 6
Cook the frosting. Melt the butter in a water bath. Mix sugar with cocoa powder, heat milk until warm. Pour milk into the melted butter, add sugar and cocoa. Put the mixture on low heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour the chocolate icing over the apple charlotte, sprinkle with powdered sugar or coconut, then garnish with whipped cream if desired.
