  • 1 tsp salt;

  • A mixture of peppers as desired.
  • For the marinade:
  • 2 tbsp. l. six percent vinegar (natural, grape and apple cider are suitable).
  • 2 tsp with a slide of granulated sugar.

Step 1

Making beetroot salad starts with preparing the vegetables. Wash the root vegetables, peel them and steam until tender. Bake the carrots and beets in the oven if desired.

Remove the husk of the onion, cut it as thin as possible, ideally in half rings or grate it on a special grater. Wash the apples, remove the skin from them, cut out the middle, remove the bones. Cut the fruit into thin strips.

Place the chopped prepared food in a deep bowl. Combine vinegar and sugar in a separate container, stir thoroughly - this is a marinade. Pour the onion and apples with the prepared mixture, stir them well so that the marinade hits all the pieces. Let the food infuse for half an hour.

While you have time, make a beetroot salad dressing. To do this, combine soy sauce, vegetable oil, sugar, salt and a mixture of peppers in a convenient bowl. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.

Cool the finished beets and carrots, cut into thin strips or chop on a special grater for French fries. Place the ingredients in a deep salad bowl, add the onion and apple lightly squeezed from the marinade there.
