Scientists-nutritionists have made a discovery that the period from 16 to 17 hours is best for consuming sweets. Therefore, during an afternoon snack, even those who follow the figure can afford a little sweet, and this is simply necessary for children.
Children's afternoon tea
The child's body must receive everything it needs. Only overweight babies should be limited in the consumption of sweet and starchy foods, for the rest it is quite possible to eat a piece of sweet cake, a couple of cookies, and a cottage cheese casserole for an afternoon snack.
Prepare jelly for your child and yourself. To do this, take:
- 300 g of fresh or frozen berries;
- 1.5 liters of water;
- 1-2 tbsp. starch:
- 0.5 cups granulated sugar.

- 70 g of milk;
- 1 egg;
- 2 tbsp. Sahara;
- a pinch of vanillin;
- 50 g cherries or 1 peach.
Remove the seeds from the cherries. If you are cooking with a peach, cut it into small pieces. In a separate bowl, hang cottage cheese with sugar and vanilla, add berries or fruit, stir.
Beat the egg lightly with milk until smooth, dip the bread in the mixture, fry it on one side in butter. Spread the curd-fruit mixture on the fried surface. Put sandwiches in a frying pan, add a little oil, cover, fry on minimum heat for 5-6 minutes.
Children will enjoy pancakes and pancakes with pleasure. They can be served with sour cream, condensed milk, custard or jam.
Sweetness - and joy to adults

- 50 g of yogurt;
- 30 g of dark bitter chocolate.
For fruits with thick skin, remove it and cut into pieces. Mix yogurt with honey, pour over the fruit. Rub the chocolate, sprinkle the salad on top, you can decorate it with a cherry and eat it with gusto.
Those who want a denser snack can prepare berry mousse for an afternoon snack. For him you will need:
- 1 glass of water;
- 2 tbsp. decoys;
- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- 60 berries (better with sourness).
Take berries, such as cranberries, grind them in a blender, put them in a saucepan. Pour sugar there, pour water, stir the mass, bring to a boil. Now pour in the semolina in a thin stream, stirring vigorously. It is better to do this with a whisk, cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Then place this saucepan in a bowl of cold water and whisk the mousse into a fluffy mass. The dish is ready. It can be poured into a bowl and refrigerated for 40 minutes. Then the mousse will thicken.
