The ideal child's meal plan for the whole day consists of 5 meals: breakfast, lunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. But afternoon tea alone does not imply full meals, but rather time for a snack. How to feed the baby so as not to interrupt his desire to eat for dinner, but at the same time not to leave him hungry.

It is very important to maintain a balance of food during the day and make sure that the child is getting the required amount of protein, fiber and vegetable fats. If there was porridge for breakfast, for an afternoon snack it is better to give a sour-milk dish - cottage cheese, syrniki, yogurt, curd casserole. And supplement all this with drinking yogurt, kefir or beefelife.

If curd dishes were in the morning, in the afternoon the child can be given cereals. But not in the usual form of cereals, but disguised as a delicious dessert. For example, you can bake a manna with berry syrup (cherries, seasonal berries). Oatmeal can be served with muffins or muffins, oatmeal cookies with dried fruit.

Not all children willingly eat vegetables and fruits. This means that the task of the parents is to present these dishes in such a way that the child does not understand what is hidden there. For example, an apple can be chopped into pancake batter or hidden in a curd casserole and pudding. Carrots, by the way, are also great for casseroles and even pies. In finished baked goods, the taste of carrots is almost not felt, but useful substances remain.

And a sweet tooth can be pampered with homemade dried fruit sweets. Take in equal proportions dates, dried apricots, raisins, prunes or dried cherries. Grind everything finely in a blender. Pour boiling water over and let stand for ten minutes. Add vanillin and milk powder (or mixture). Form small balls from the resulting mass, roll them in coconut and refrigerate for one hour. A healthy and tasty afternoon snack is ready!
