Thin potato patties are more like tortillas or potato-filled pancakes than classic patties. They can be eaten with anything - with jam and sour cream, as a beer snack or just like that. They will be equally appropriate for breakfast and dinner, in winter cold and summer heat.
It is necessary
-
- 1 glass of kefir
- 1 egg
- flour
- salt
- soda
- 400 g potatoes
- 1 onion
- vegetable oil
Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the dough. It is better for him to get kefir out of the refrigerator in advance. Mix kefir with egg and salt. Stir constantly, add flour in small portions. When the dough reaches the consistency of sour cream, add the baking soda and continue stirring in the flour. The finished dough should be elastic and non-sticky to your hands. Let the dough sit for 40-45 minutes.
Step 2
Boil potatoes, mash them hot without adding liquid. Fry the onion cut into small cubes in vegetable oil, mix it with potatoes. Let the filling cool slightly.
Step 3
Separate a small piece from the dough, roll it into a cake, put the filling on it, pinch with a regular seam. Turn the pie over, seam side down, and gently roll over it with a rolling pin to make a thin patty.
Step 4
Heat a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil in a skillet. Bake the pies for 2-3 minutes until a golden brown crust forms on them.
