Oyster mushroom is a well-known tree mushroom in our country. The popularity of oyster mushrooms is explained not only by the fact that this mushroom can be used as a basis for preparing delicious dishes, but also by the fact that oyster mushrooms contain a high concentration of special enzymes called perforins.
Perforins are capable of destroying abnormal cells, which means they prevent the development of tumors - benign and malignant. Therefore, many doctors recommend eating oyster mushrooms for the prevention of cancer. Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to cook oyster mushrooms in such a way that the taste of these mushrooms is revealed. The fact is that, unlike other mushrooms, it is not necessary to boil oyster mushrooms before cooking (like champignons that are grown artificially). You just need to choose the right mushrooms when buying. You cannot buy mushrooms on which there are yellowish spots - their taste will not be very pleasant. It is better to choose mushrooms of an even grayish-brown shade. Rinse the mushrooms thoroughly before cooking. To quickly and deliciously cook oyster mushrooms, you can simply fry them. Fried oyster mushrooms can be served with mashed potatoes.
In order to fry mushrooms as tasty as possible, we need: half a kilogram of mushrooms, 200 grams of onions, 100 grams of sour cream, a bunch of fresh herbs, a clove of garlic, salt, black and red peppers to taste, vegetable oil for frying.
• Cut well-washed oyster mushrooms into small pieces, but not very finely.
• Pour about 70 grams of sunflower oil into a preheated skillet, wait until it boils, and pour the chopped mushrooms into it. Never add water - the mushrooms will release plenty of it.
• Salt the mushrooms to taste and prepare the onion: cut it into thin half rings and fry in another pan until golden brown.
• When the liquid from the pan with mushrooms has almost completely evaporated, add the fried onions and sour cream there.
• Add spices and simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes.
• Add finely chopped garlic and herbs at the end (for example, try oyster mushrooms with cilantro - it goes perfectly with the flavor of fried mushrooms).
