Take a bowl deeper and break the egg into it. Beat the egg with a blender, you can also use a whisk, while adding sugar. Beat everything until foamy. To make the cake soft and fluffy in the future, it is better to beat the yolk separately, then the protein and mix everything.

Add sour cream to this mixture and stir everything thoroughly.

Following the sour cream, pour the flour passed through a sieve into a bowl so that it is free of lumps and add soda, but not slaked. Beat everything well and add nuts, dried fruits, poppy seeds or raisins.

We heat the oven to 180-200 degrees.
The muffin dough should be thicker in consistency than the pancake dough.
