Anyone who loves the smell of cinnamon, who associates it with comfort and happiness, should definitely make Zemelach cookies. This pastry goes well with milk and tea. Many people remember these cookies from childhood.

- wheat flour - 160-180 g,
- butter - 50 g,
- icing sugar - 40 g,
- sour cream - 50 g,
- vanilla sugar - ½ tsp,
- chicken egg - 1 pc.,
- cinnamon (powder) - 10 g,
- granulated sugar - 25 g.

Step 1
In a deep, comfortable bowl, collect butter, sour cream, vanilla sugar, and powdered sugar. Grind food white. Divide the egg into white and yolk. Drive the protein into the butter mass. Use the yolk at your discretion.
Step 2
Sift the flour and add it in small portions to the total mass. Knead the dough. Wrap the finished dough in foil and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Roll out the dough on the table. Putting parchment paper on it beforehand. Sprinkle flour over the rolling pin to prevent the dough from sticking to the rolling pin. The rolled rectangle should be 5 mm thick.
Step 4
Cut the dough into diamonds. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top of the workpiece.
Next, carefully transfer the paper with semi-finished products to a baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, preheat it to 200 degrees. After removing the baking sheet from the oven, run the knife along the cut lines. Leave the cookies to cool on a baking sheet so that they do not bend. Chilled Zemelach biscuits can be served at the table.
