To prepare hearty and tasty rolls according to this recipe, you will need carrots and a can of canned tuna. Similar canned tuna rolls can be found in many sushi bars. Most often, cucumber or avocado is used instead of carrots, but many believe that boiled carrots go better with tuna.

It is necessary

  • - rice vinegar - 2 tablespoons;
  • - canned tuna - 200 g;
  • - carrots - 2 pcs;
  • - rice - 500 g;
  • - nori leaves - 2 pcs.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the rice in multiple waters. Next, put the pan on the fire, pour the rice inside and fill it with the same amount of water. Adjust the water level in the saucepan, it should be two fingers higher than the rice. Cook the rice on a low heat for 20 minutes, covered with a lid. The rice should be bland, so there is no need to salt it.

Step 2

Cook the carrots in a separate bowl. You can use the microwave. To do this, take a plastic bag, put peeled carrots there, pour a little water, twist the bag and place in the microwave. Bake it for 3-4 minutes and after that it will be like boiled.

Step 3

Cut the carrots lengthwise into strips. Open a can of canned tuna. Drain all liquid from it.

Step 4

Place the nori sheet flat side down on the table. Put the cooked rice on the nori sheet, there should be some free space on the sides so that you can conveniently fix the sheet when rolling the roll. Lay the tuna and carrots evenly on top. Spin the roll with gentle movements.

Step 5

Using a sharp knife soaked in water, cut it into pieces of equal thickness. Serve the canned tuna rolls with soy sauce, wasabi and ginger.
