Experienced chefs recommend putting the cloves 3-4 minutes before the main meal is ready in order to preserve their nutritional qualities as much as possible. You don't have to boil the garlic - just fill it with a ready-made hot dish and cover with a lid. After 5 minutes, you can set the table.

Step 2

Garlic is often marinated as a separate dish. It turns out an excellent snack for meat and lard, which can be rolled up in sterilized jars and prepared for the winter. The recipe is simple: whole onions are carefully peeled from coarse husks, then dipped in boiling water. After 3 minutes, pour cold water over the garlic and put in a jar.

Step 3

Cut the beets into medium slices and place them over the onions. Prepare the marinade: in 1 liter of water, add 50 g of salt and the same amount of sugar. After boiling, pour in half a glass of vinegar 9% and pour the hot mixture over the garlic.

Step 4

Explore some traditional recipes for traditional medicine where you need to boil garlic. For various diseases, this healing vegetable is taken internally, externally and by inhalation. So, with a strong cough, 0.5 kg of cloves should be chopped and boiled in syrup (0.5 kg of sugar in 0.5 liters of water). Add honey and take orally a tablespoon 30 minutes before each meal.

Step 5

A gruel of 5 minced garlic cloves can be boiled in milk - this is a proven folk remedy for helminthic infestations. Place the garlic in 200 g of liquid and simmer over low heat under a lid for 10 minutes. Let it brew, and during the week, drink 5 g of the warm product 4-5 times a day on an empty stomach.

Step 6

For acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI), you can prepare the so-called garlic tea. Put a few crushed heads in a cauldron, pour a glass of water and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Pour in 5 g of fresh lemon juice and use the resulting mixture for inhalation.

Step 7

In folk medicine, there are many other recipes with this amazing vegetable. When garlic is cooked, some of the volatile substances are destroyed, but much (for example, mineral salts) remains in the water. Therefore, the broth has healing properties. You can make a whole garlic bath out of it, which will effectively deal with colds. To prepare it, add 5 g of garlic gruel to 400 ml of water, bring to a boil and turn off the heat. When the mixture is infused under the lid, you can strain it and prepare a bath at the rate of 1 part broth and 3 parts water.
