Classic homemade recipe

To prepare it, you will need the following set of products:

  • 1 sea bass,
  • 30 ml olive oil;
  • head of onion or purple onion;
  • 1 lemon;
  • Provencal herbs;
  • salt to taste.

First, clean the fish, free it from the insides, cut off the fins. The fins of the seabass are very sharp, so be careful not to cut yourself. When the fish is ready, take a bowl and combine the salt and spices in it. With the resulting mixture, thoroughly rub the fish, not only outside, but also inside. It is very easy to oversalt and pepper the seabass. It absorbs all the seasonings very quickly, so be careful - do not overdo it. Then it's up to the bow. Cut it into rings. It is better to choose onions not onions, but special purple ones, for salads. But this is a matter of taste. If you want a slight bitterness, you can also use onion. Do the same with the lemon. Divide it into thin, neat slices.

There is little left to do. Place the sea bass in a baking bag or wrap it in foil. If you are using a bag, remember to punch a few holes in it. This is necessary in order for the dish to bake well. For foil, wrap the fish tightly. Place the seabass itself in the middle, put an onion around the edges, and a lemon on top. To make the taste even more pronounced and rich, sprinkle the fish with olive oil and send to bake. Put the oven at 190 degrees.

Some housewives like to stuff fish with parsley and dill. If you want a fresher taste, you can try it. Experiment and find your ideal ingredients. In the meantime, the fish was baked well. It took her about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve. Delicate, aromatic treats are ready! Very tasty sea bass will be combined with potatoes, fresh vegetable salad and seafood sauce.

Seabass baked with potatoes

This recipe is a little simpler than the previous one, but in its taste it is in no way inferior to it. To make it a reality, you need the following products:

  • 1 sea bass;
  • 4 cloves of garlic;
  • 100 g butter;
  • half a kilo of potatoes;
  • 2 lemons;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Carry out a preliminary fish cleaning procedure. Combine salt and pepper in a small bowl in the proportions you would normally use to prepare marine life. Rub the sea bass carcass with the mixture. Cut the previously washed lemon into rings and send it inside the fish. If you have a juicer at home, great. Squeeze the juice out of one lemon, make deep cuts in the fish, and carefully pour it inside. If you don't have a juicer, it doesn't matter. You can do it all manually.

Place the fish on the foil and move on to the potatoes. Wash it well and cut into cubes. Then spread the slices evenly on the foil along the seabass. To give the potatoes a bright taste, prepare the following sauce for them: mix the butter previously melted in a water bath with crushed garlic. And then gently spread the resulting sauce over the potato slices. Thus, the taste of potatoes and fish will be equally pronounced. They will not fight for primacy, but mutually complement each other.

So the climax. Cover the fish with another piece of foil on top and put it in the oven, heated to 200 degrees, for half an hour. After 15 minutes, remove the top layer of foil and let the dish come to condition. After about 30 minutes, take it out and try it. If the sea bass is beautifully browned and the potatoes are baked, the mission can be considered completed. Invite friends, guests and reap the fruits of your efforts. Enjoy your meal.
