It is necessary

  • For the sauce:
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce or 2 tablespoons soy;
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter;
  • 2 tbsp. l. chopped cilantro (can be dried);
  • 1 tbsp. l. chopped basil (can be dried);
  • Chili pepper - to taste;
  • Optional: 1 tsp. cane sugar - the sauce should be spicy - sweetish.
  • 150 g salted salmon fillet;
  • 1 large white onion
  • 600 g pomelo.
  • Chopped unsalted peanuts or sesame seeds for serving.

Instructions

Step 1

We clean the pomelo of skins, disassemble it into fibers. Cut the onion into thin half rings. Cut the salmon into 1, 5 cm strips.

Step 2

Heat oil in a frying pan. Put the onion in the heated oil and simmer, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until it changes color. Transfer to a plate with a slotted spoon.

Step 3

Mix all ingredients for the sauce. Toss the onion, pomelo and salmon in a large bowl, drizzle with the dressing and serve, sprinkling with peanuts or sesame seeds.
