This is now the most fashionable trend in jam making. Add mint leaves to strawberry or cherry jam at the end of the boil, and you will be surprised by the new shade of your favorite jam.

Accentuate the taste of the raspberry jam with a few drops of vanilla essence at the very end of the boil by removing the jam from the heat. Combine raspberries and chocolate by adding shavings of dark chocolate (200 g per 1 kg of fruit) to the jam while steeping. Red berry jam with strawberry liqueur

For 4 or 5 jars:

  • 300 g strawberries;
  • 300 g raspberries;
  • 300 g red currants;
  • 300 g cherries;
  • juice of one lemon;
  • 800 g granulated sugar;
  • 70 ml of strawberry liqueur.

Wash and dry the strawberries, cut them into halves. Sort out the raspberries, not washing them. Peel the currants from the twigs and rinse. Wash the cherries, remove seeds and twigs.

Place the fruit in a saucepan with granulated sugar, lemon juice and 400 ml of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring thoroughly. After checking the readiness with a drop on a plate, remove from heat and add liquor. Place in jars immediately.
