It is necessary

  • - tiger prawns - 300 g;
  • - garlic - 2-3 cloves;
  • - vegetable oil - 50 ml;
  • - bay leaves - 2 pcs.;
  • - salt, ground red pepper.
  • For the sauce:
  • - green apple -1 pc.;
  • - lemon juice - 1 tsp;
  • - curry seasoning - 1 tsp;
  • - juice and zest of 1 lime.

Instructions

Step 1

If you purchased unpeeled and frozen shrimp, the first thing to do is defrost them. When the main ice has melted, rinse the seafood under running water and cleanse: remove the shell and intestinal vein. Cut the garlic into thin slices.

Step 2

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, set the "Baking" mode for 25-30 minutes. When the oil in the bowl warms up a little (after about 5-7 minutes), add the garlic there. Fry it for a couple of minutes until it starts to exude aroma.

Step 3

Place the shrimp in the bowl. Sprinkle them with salt and ground red pepper. Place the bay leaf broken into several pieces on top. Mix everything. Fry the shrimp until you hear a beep. Place the fried shrimp on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Step 4

Now make the applesauce. To do this, peel the apple from the skin, seeds and core. Cut into small pieces and chop in a blender. Add curry, lemon juice, zest, and lime juice to the applesauce. Stir well again. If necessary, add salt to the sauce.

Step 5

Now you know how to cook shrimp in a slow cooker. It is recommended to serve the dish warm, pouring apple sauce on top. If you plan to serve shrimp on a festive table, then decorate the plate with lemon and lime wedges, as well as sprigs of herbs.
