- - Chicken thighs - 5 pcs.;
- - Medium-sized carrots - 2 pcs.;
- - Potatoes - 1 kg;
- - Onions - 1 pc.;
- - Garlic - 6 cloves;
- - Sunflower oil - for frying;
- - Salt, pepper, herbs - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan. Gently place the well-washed chicken thighs. Fry them on 2 sides until golden brown.
Step 2
Chop the peeled onion into small pieces, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Pour them into the meat. Cover the pan with a lid. Fry for another 5-7 minutes.
Step 3
Wash the potatoes, peel, cut into large cubes or slices. Transfer to a cast iron. Put the meat on top of it, along with onions, carrots and the fat in which it was cooked. Add a little water to prevent the dish from burning.

Put the saucepan over low heat.

15 minutes before the dish is ready, salt and pepper. Add bay leaves, black peppercorns, any herbs (dill, parsley, cilantro …) to it.
