- - Bulgarian pepper - 1.5 kg
- - green dill - 1 bunch
- - salt and pepper to taste
- - 1 dessert spoon of 9% vinegar and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil for 1 can of 0.7 liters

Step 1
In order to prepare the Don salad according to the classic recipe, prepare all the vegetables you need according to the recipe. Rinse them well. Cut small cucumbers into slices. For large specimens, peel, cut off the ponytails and also cut into slices about 2 ml thick.
Wash the bell pepper, peel it from seeds, cut off the tail and cut into small slices.
Wash green tomatoes and also cut into slices.
Wash and cut a bunch of dill.
Step 2
Put all the vegetables prepared in this way in a container, add pepper and salt to taste, mix thoroughly and leave for 10-15 minutes. During this time, the vegetables cooked for the Don salad should be juiced.
Step 3
In order to prepare the Don salad for the winter, sterilize the 0.7 liter jars. Spread vegetables for salad on jars, lightly tamping with a spoon or gurney. Pour the remaining juice into the jars. Place the sterilized jars in a wide saucepan for 15-20 minutes, covering the jars with sterilized lids.
Step 4
After that, add one dessert spoon of vinegar and one tablespoon of boiling vegetable oil to each jar. Roll up the jars with Don salad and wrap them until they cool completely.
