Kuha or kuchen (Kuchen) - an old and very popular German pie, similar to the Russian cake, only without cream. All the ingredients you need are immediately put into the oven. It is prepared for a wide variety of holidays: for a birthday, for a wedding, for a name day. But since this cake is quite easy to prepare, it is also baked on weekdays, for example, at work, or when guests unexpectedly dropped by.

Let's take a look at two of the easiest and most popular baking methods.

It is necessary

    • For the first way:
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 liter of warm milk
    • 200 gr. margarine
    • a pinch of salt and the same amount of sugar
    • bag with baking powder or yeast pack
    • 1 kg flour
    • For the second way:
    • 2 cups milk
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 packet vanillin
    • 250 g butter
    • 50 gr. fresh yeast
    • 1.5 cups sugar
    • 6-7 cups flour
    • a pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1

First cooking method:

Knead the yeast dough, do not forget to "come up" (that is, brew) at least twice. The dough should not be too tight. When you finally roll it out and put it on a baking tray, let it stand a little longer and "get used" to a new form for yourself (about 20 minutes).

Second cooking method:

Dissolve one glass of sugar, yeast, salt in warm milk. Pour in half of the flour, mix thoroughly and put in a warm place. After the mass has bubbled and doubled in volume, add 200 g. melted butter, beaten eggs and leftover flour, and knead the dough, which should not be tough. Then let it come up again.

Step 2

First cooking method:

While the dough is on the baking sheet, you need to make a sprinkle (rivel). To do this, take 200 gr. flour and 125 gr. butter. Knead it, butter, warmed to room temperature, with flour. After that, lumps of various shapes should turn out. Sprinkle them over the cooling dough.

Second cooking method:

Knead the dough and put in a greased form

Step 3

First cooking method:

Then put everything in the oven (up to 170 degrees) and let the pie rise and bake.

Second cooking method:

Spreading preparation: 50 gr. Grind butter with 0.5 cups of sugar and a bag of vanillin. Add enough flour to make a crumb.

Step 4

Second cooking method:

Sprinkle the top of the dough with butter and sugar crumbs and place in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes. Required temperature for baking: 200 degrees.

Step 5

Second cooking method:

To prevent the cake from settling, do not open the oven door for the first 20 minutes. When the kitchen is browned, check the doneness with a fork or toothpick. Cool the finished pie a little, then cut into pieces. Done!
