The most favorite and demanded dish during outdoor recreation is shashlik. A piece of the most tender fragrant meat "with a smoke" and a sip of wine for many are unequivocally ingredients of the dish called "happiness". Shish kebab can be prepared from a wide variety of meats, poultry or even fish. The simplest and most budgetary option is chicken kebab.
It is necessary
-
- chicken carcass;
- lemon;
- large onion;
- 3-4 cloves of garlic;
- a bunch of parsley;
- ground black pepper;
- any spices for chicken;
- hollow-ware;
- brazier
- skewer or barbecue grill;
- coals;
- a bottle of water.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the chicken into small portions. To remove or not to remove the skin is a matter of your personal taste. However, keep in mind that the presence of the skin will make the dish fatter and more nutritious.
Step 2
Cut the onion into half rings, remember it a little so that it lets the juice. Trim a few cloves of garlic into thin slices. Chop finely and mash a bunch of parsley just as lightly until juice appears. Combine herbs, garlic and onion.
Step 3
Place chicken pieces, onions, garlic, herbs, and your favorite spices (except salt!) In a deep saucepan or bowl. Mix everything thoroughly. Then pour 2-3 tablespoons of lemon juice into the meat, stir again and send it to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Ideally, the meat should be marinated for 10-12 hours, but two or three chicken kebabs with lemon juice are enough.
Step 4
Season the marinated meat with salt. The main secret of a successful kebab is to salt the meat just before cooking. Then the finished dish will be the most juicy.
Step 5
String pieces of kebab on a skewer, alternating with rings of onion, lemon, tomato, bell pepper. If a grill is used for cooking, then before frying it must be greased with vegetable oil, and only then lay the meat on it.
Step 6
Grill the kebab over charcoal until tender, turning the meat over from time to time so that it roasts evenly. During cooking, do not allow the appearance of open fire, timely knocking down the appearing tongues of flame with water from a bottle.
Step 7
Remember: chicken cooks very quickly. You can check the readiness by cutting one piece of meat. It is very important not to overcook the chicken, otherwise the kebab will become dryish.
