This cake has a simply divine taste, and it cooks very quickly. As a filling, you can use both fresh and frozen currants, and if you wish, you can take thick jam.

Ingredients:

  • A pack (200 g) of margarine;
  • Wheat flour - 0.5 kg;
  • 1 pinch of baking powder and vanillin;
  • 1 can of condensed milk;
  • 3 eggs;
  • Granulated sugar - 200 g;
  • 250-300 g of currants.

Preparation:

  1. The first step is to prepare the most delicate shortbread dough for the cake. To do this, mix vanillin, baking powder and granulated sugar in a cup. Then eggs are added to these ingredients and the whole mass mixes very well. Then margarine is poured into the cup, which must first be dissolved over low heat to a liquid state.
  2. Next, the pre-sifted flour is poured in parts and the dough is kneaded. It should be very elastic and not sticky at all. It is very simple and easy to work with such a test.
  3. Then prepare the baking dish. It must be thoroughly smeared with a small amount of sunflower oil (it is better that it be odorless). Put the dough into the prepared form. It is leveled with the hands, while it is worth considering that the dough should be evenly distributed over the entire surface of the mold and not very large sides must be made. Also, make sure that there are no holes.
  4. Then we'll start preparing the berries. If necessary, it must be sorted out, removing all unripe and rotten berries, and then rinsed. After that, the currants must be dried. To do this, you can pour it into a colander or sprinkle it on a paper towel. By the way, currants can be used in absolutely any color, for example, black, red, white and others.
  5. Prepared berries must be laid out in an even layer on the dough. Then they are sprinkled with granulated sugar on top. The amount of sugar directly depends on whether the berries themselves are sour or sweet and, of course, on your personal preferences. You don't need to add sugar at all, if that's what you want. For those with a sweet tooth, it is recommended to pour the currants with condensed milk as well.
  6. The dessert is placed in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees. There, the cake should be baked for about half an hour until the dough is fully cooked.
