Currant itself is a very healthy berry. You can make many delicious and healthy desserts from it. One of these desserts is currant pie.
It is necessary
- - flour, 4 glasses;
- - softened margarine, 1 pack;
- - sugar, 1 1/3 cups;
- - egg yolks, 2 pieces.
- For filling:
- - black and red currants, 4 cups each;
- - icing sugar, 3 spoons;
- - vanilla sugar, 1 spoon.
Instructions
Step 1
Whisk the margarine with granulated sugar, add the yolks, beat again. Then add the sifted flour, knead the dough, separate a third from it, put it in the refrigerator. Put the remaining dough on a baking sheet in an even layer, press with your palms.
Step 2
Let's prepare the filling. Peel the currants from the twigs, rinse well, dry, mix with granulated sugar.
Step 3
Put the resulting filling in an even layer on the dough, cover with the rest of the dough from the refrigerator (rub it on a grater). Place the pie in the bottom of the preheated oven and bake at moderate temperature for about half an hour. Sprinkle the cooled currant pie with icing sugar.
