Pizza with thin crust, prepared according to this recipe, turns out to be very tasty, aromatic and almost impossible to distinguish from the one that is made in good pizzerias.
Ingredients:
- 300 g wheat flour;
- 300 g of pure water;
- olive oil;
- ripe tomatoes;
- 2 garlic cloves;
- 100 g semolina;
- 7 g dry yeast (small pack);
- salt;
- basil;
- mozzarella cheese.
Preparation:
- Add semolina to the sifted wheat flour. Mix everything thoroughly and pour it on the table in a slide. Make a depression in the slide, into which pour the required amount of water, olive oil, and also add yeast and a little salt.
- Knead the dough. This dough should be kneaded for 12-15 minutes. If it sticks to your fingers very hard, then use flour, but do not overdo it so that the dough does not turn out too tight.
- After that, place the dough in a cup, cover with a light towel and place in the heat for 1, 5–2 hours.
- Place a frying pan on a hot stove and pour a small amount of oil into it. After the oil is hot, add the peeled, washed, and finely chopped garlic cloves to the pan.
- Pour boiling water over the washed tomatoes and remove the skin from them. Cut them into not very large pieces, while trying to remove the seeds. Then the prepared tomatoes should be put in a frying pan with garlic and finely chopped basil greens should be added there. Cook over low heat, covered, for about a quarter of an hour. Put the prepared tomato sauce in a bowl.
- Roll out the risen dough into a thin layer (make a pizza base) and place on a well-oiled baking sheet. The prepared dough is enough for 2 pizzas.
- Spread the sauce over the dough, sprinkle with a small amount of basil leaves and finely broken mozzarella. If you wish, you can add various ingredients to the filling (sausage, olives, pickled cucumbers, and so on), which you like best.
- Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. The finished pizza is cut into portions and served at the table.
