Sprouts are a very healthy food. They cleanse the intestines, contain many vitamins and minerals. Oat sprouts are the tastiest of all cereals. They taste sweet; contain B vitamins and the largest amount of plant proteins among cereals.
There are several ways to sprout oats. Let's consider the most effective and convenient - canning option.
It is necessary
- - oat seeds
- - bank
- - pink solution of potassium permanganate
- - water
Instructions
Step 1
Clean the purchased oat seeds from excess debris. Select good seeds. To do this, fill the oats with water: discard the seeds that have surfaced. They are "empty".
Step 2
Place the oat seeds in a small jar. Fill them with pink potassium permanganate solution, stir and leave for 5 minutes. With this solution, you will process the seeds. Empty the jar and rinse the seeds several times with clean water.
Step 3
Refill the oat seeds with clean water 10 cm above the grain level.
Cover the jar with cheesecloth and secure it with an elastic band. Leave the jar for 12 hours anywhere other than the windowsill.
Step 4
After 12 hours, drain all the water. In order for the water to drain completely, place the jar on an inclined plane. Make sure that the seeds do not cover the gauze cover, otherwise they will "suffocate". Leave the jar in this position for 1-3 days at 22 ° C until the seeds germinate.
Step 5
After a few days (depending on the quality of the seeds), sprouts will appear.
You need to eat them until the sprout length exceeds 5 mm. Eat sprouts in the morning because they have a strong stimulating effect. Store sprouts in the refrigerator for no more than a day, because even in the cold they continue to grow.
