Rice pancakes are a traditional oriental dish loved by the Chinese emperors. Compared to wheat pancakes, rice ones do not contain gluten, therefore they are better absorbed by the body and are perfect for dietary or medical nutrition. Rice pancakes are thin and crispy.
Rice flour pancakes
Pancakes prepared according to this recipe do not differ in taste from the usual wheat pancakes, but at the same time they are less thin and sweet. You will need the following ingredients:
- 200 rice flour;
- 500 ml of milk;
- 20 g of potato starch;
- 50 g of sugar;
- eggs - 2 pcs.;
- vegetable oil;
- salt (to taste).
In a deep bowl, combine the rice flour, sugar, starch and a little salt, then pour in the milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Add egg and butter.
Use a mixer to mix the dough well so that there are no lumps.
In the meantime, preheat the pan, add the vegetable oil, then pour in a small portion of the dough, distribute it evenly over the entire surface of the pan. Rice pancakes break more easily, so try to make them smaller. Fry the rice pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Small holes on the surface will tell you that the pancake is ready and can be turned over.
Stack pancakes on a plate. Serve hot with sour cream, honey, jam, jam, etc. You can also prepare any filling: jam, cheese, cottage cheese, minced meat, mushrooms, fish, etc.
Rice pancakes on the water
To prepare dietary and lean rice pancakes in water, you will need:
- 1 tbsp. rice flour;
- 1 tsp Sahara;
- 1 tbsp. water;
- 2 tbsp. l. starch;
- vegetable oil;
- salt (to taste).
In a bowl, combine rice flour, starch, then add salt and sugar. Pour in water gradually, stirring the dough with whisk. Leave the finished dough to sit for about 15-20 minutes for it to come through.
Heat the skillet and brush with oil, then pour in a few spoons of dough and spread evenly over the skillet. The fact that the surface of the pancakes will set will tell you what needs to be turned over.
Sweet rice pancakes
Delicious and sweet pancakes are made from the following ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. rice flour;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- 1 tbsp. milk;
- 1 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- salt (to taste);
- honey, butter, nuts (optional).
Mix flour with salt and sugar, add an egg and cover with milk. Beat the dough with a mixer or regular beaters until smooth.
Preheat a skillet, add oil and pour in a few spoons of dough. Fry pancakes over low heat until golden brown. Grease the finished pancakes with butter, pour over with honey and sprinkle with nuts on top.
