There are many variations of cream sauce. A novice cook should start with the simplest classic recipe. Fry the sifted flour in a preheated skillet, stirring constantly, until golden brown. Add a lump of butter and mix well. Pour the cream into the pan, stir again and bring to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat, cool the cooked mass and place in a saucepan. If the sauce is too runny, you can thicken it with cornstarch. In a bowl, mix half a teaspoon of starch with a few drops of water and add to the hot sauce. Then simmer it for about 10 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally. The cream sauce does not need to be boiled for a long time, and it is also not recommended to reheat it, as the cream can stratify.

Whisk the cream and yolks in a bowl, add this mixture to the ham and garlic and put on the smallest heat for three minutes so that the eggs do not begin to coagulate. Then remove the pan from the stove, add the grated cheese, herbs and stir. This creamy spaghetti sauce should be served immediately, pouring into the hot pasta.
