If you choose the right ingredients, you can make an unusually tasty dessert even from ordinary bread. This is what I propose to do. I have no doubt that such a delicacy will amaze you and immediately like it.
It is necessary
- - rye bread - 400 g;
- - cinnamon - 1 tablespoon;
- - brown sugar - 1 tablespoon;
- - lingonberry jam - 5-6 tablespoons;
- - cottage cheese - 250 g;
- - cream - 100 ml;
- - icing sugar - 2 tablespoons.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, use a knife to cut off all the crusts from the rye bread. Please note that it is best to use bread not fresh, but one that has lain for 1-2 days. Turn the remaining pulp into crumbs.
Step 2
Now, pour the crumbled rye bread into the pan, combine with brown sugar and ground cinnamon. You can substitute white sugar for brown sugar. Place this mass on the stove and heat over medium heat for one quarter of an hour. Remember to stir it constantly while doing this. This will make the crumbs even smaller. After the time has elapsed, set aside the mixture until it cools completely.
Step 3
After mixing cottage cheese with cream and powdered sugar, beat it thoroughly until smooth. If you wish, you can add vanillin to this mixture - it will give an additional taste to the bread dessert.
Step 4
Taking a suitable transparent dish, put the components of the dessert in it in the following order: 1/3 of the mass of bread crumbs, then half of the cottage cheese and lingonberry jam. Repeat the layers in the same order one more time. Sprinkle the remaining bread crumbs on top of the dish. Remember to even out each layer of the treat with a spatula or spoon.
Step 5
Cover the treat with cling film, place it in the refrigerator and leave it there overnight to soak. Bread dessert is ready!
