Stale rye bread can be used to make an original sweet dessert. The recipe is very simple, and the dish turns out to be extremely tasty.
It is necessary
- - 1 orange
- - 250 g stale rye bread
- - 60 g sugar
- - 50 g of chocolate
- - 100 g of any nuts
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the oranges into several pieces. Grind the pulp and zest separately in a blender. Beat the cream with a mixer, adding sugar.
Step 2
Grate stale bread on a coarse grater. Mix the resulting crumb with a few tablespoons of sugar, orange zest and chopped nuts.
Step 3
In a glass or bowl, layer the bread and whipped cream mixture in layers. Sprinkle each layer with orange pulp.
Step 4
Garnish the top layer of cream with grated chocolate before serving. If desired, the orange pulp can be replaced with any jam or preserves. Small mint leaves can be used as an additional decoration.
