Rabbit meat is a dietary and very healthy product. The proteins contained in this meat are absorbed by the body by 90%. In addition, rabbit dishes are rich in vitamins (C, A, PP, B) and trace elements (iodine, copper, fluorine, cobalt, potassium, iron). Rabbit meat cooked in a slow cooker turns out to be incredibly soft, tender and juicy, and also has a rich taste.

It is necessary

  • - rabbit carcass (2 kg.);
  • - carrots (3 pcs.);
  • - onions (2 pcs.);
  • - sour cream (250 ml);
  • - garlic (3 cloves);
  • - vegetable oil;
  • - salt, black pepper, seasonings to taste;
  • - greens.

Instructions

Step 1

Divide the prepared rabbit carcass into parts depending on the number of servings. Cut the onion into half rings, rub the carrots on a coarse grater and chop the garlic.

Step 2

Add vegetable oil to the multicooker bowl, put pieces of rabbit meat in it and cook for 40 minutes, choosing the "Baking" program. During cooking, the meat must be turned over several times so that it is well-done on all sides.

Step 3

While the rabbit is cooking, fry the chopped onions and carrots in oil until they acquire a golden hue.

Step 4

Put a layer of vegetables on the pieces of fried meat, add black pepper, salt, spices and seasonings. Pour the sour cream diluted with a small amount of water into the multicooker bowl and cook for 1.5 hours in the "Stew" mode, and then in the "Baking" mode for another 40 minutes.

Step 5

5-8 minutes before the end of cooking, sprinkle the meat with finely chopped herbs and chopped garlic.

Step 6

A rabbit cooked in a slow cooker with sour cream is perfect for both lunch and dinner. Rice, homemade noodles, potatoes, or vegetables can be used as a side dish.
