You are about to cook fish in a slow cooker. Where to begin? How to choose a mode to make it tasty? These and other questions arise when you have to cook fish for the first time. But everything will work out the first time.
It is necessary
- Fish (peeled) - 1.5 kg
- Sour cream - 200 g
- Water - 50 ml
- Bulb onion - 1 pc.
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Spices for fish - 20 g
- Black pepper - 5 g
- Salt - 1.5 tsp
Instructions
Step 1
Clean the fish from scales, gut, wash, cut into pieces. Leave the head and tail for the fish soup, we will work with the rest.
Step 2
Put sour cream (any fat content) in a bowl.
Step 3
Put fish spices in sour cream. Both ready-made spice mixtures and separately pepper, salt, basil, etc. are suitable. By the way, if you have a ready-made fish mixture without salt, add salt separately. Sour cream should be well salted.
Mix spices with sour cream.
Step 4
Spread each piece of fish well with sour cream and put in a slow cooker.
Step 5
Cut the onions and carrots into slices and add to the fish.
Add water to the multicooker, add salt, pepper and put on the "stewing" mode for half an hour.
In principle, after that, the fish can already be eaten. But if you want it to become even tastier and to have an appetizing crust on it, let's continue cooking.
Step 6
Remove the bowl from the multicooker, drain the excess water (leaving just a little at the bottom) and put it back in the multicooker on the "bake" mode for 20-30 minutes.
Step 7
Get our fragrant fish out of the multicooker.
Step 8
Cover the multicooker bowl with a plate and flip over quickly. This is the crust of our fish.
