While the porridge is cooking, prepare the dried fruit. In a separate container, pour boiling water over the prunes and raisins for 10 minutes. After the specified time, drain the water, and then put the dried fruits on a paper towel and dry. Place the prunes on a cutting board and cut them into small cubes.
